Bathroom walls without seams or grout are beautiful and stay looking brand new for years. Solidity’s seamless wall panels are an ideal choice for contemporary or minimal bathrooms as they provide a plain backdrop for the furniture, glass, radiators and taps. Our walls and floors are smooth and non-porous so are impervious to dirt, moisture and mildew and like all our products, come with a minimum 10 year guarantee.
Size and shape are not restricted and we can even form concave or convex curved wall panels if required.
Shower Recesses
Seamless shower recesses made from Corian or HI-MACS are an attractive and permanent way to make a useful storage space in a shower. They can enhance the shower area both practically and aesthetically. There are no grout lines to keep clean and because Solid Surface can be machined very precisely, we can make neat openings for recessed lights.
For odd shaped tiles like sawn pebble tiles, or where the recess is an after thought, we can add a flange to the front edge to conceal any rough cut edges.
The trend for more colourful bathrooms can easily be achieved with Solidity wall panels! There are more than a hundred Corian, HI-MACS and Krion colours to chose from and we can seemlessly integrate any design of your choice. This shower area was for a children's bathroom. Certainly a good way to make showering more fun!
Another example of how to introduce colour to your bathroom. There are a number of wall panels in this photo. The vertical flat panels in the main shower area and behind the WC are in white HI-MACS. These white panels have been contrasted with an integrated orange recess box for keeping shampoo and shower gels and an orange loo roll holder to add some fun. Both of these recesses are integrated seamlessly. The curved piece of orange paneling on the wall by the radiator acts as a removable cistern cover and a neat join at the junction of the shower panel and cork wall. HI-MACS has even been used to create a bespoke orange mirror surround!
This shower space was made by us to showcase at Grand Designs Live. Notice the coved base of the shower tray joining without grout to the wall panel. This coved theme continues up the wall where we've created an integrated shelf with down lighting. The one piece seamless style of a Solidity wet area creates a truly water tight space and makes for easy cleaning. To create a contemporary look we chose a contrasting black wall panel to the rear.
Here is an example of the stylish and beautiful finish that can be achieved using nothing more than white HI-MACS in your shower area. In this instance the customer chose a trough waste in her Solidity wet room floor and created a contemporary look with matching white wall panels.
Not only are Corian, HI-MACS and Krion a practical and stylish choice in shower spaces but also around vanity units. In this showroom at Primrose Interiors, London, we installed a bespoke one piece vanity unit with no visible seams or grout lines. The vanity top has a custom made rectangular basin and wall panelling with 2 niche boxes.
In this small loft ensuite, Solidity made a feature of the walls by using a series of stepped panelling in complementary colours. On the left hand side, the panelling was used as drawer fronts for a tall storage unit.
